Atharra Primeland Development Corporation, a real estate developer based in Bohol, has issued a statement on Thursday saying that it will continue its business operations and construction of existing projects despite facing allegations of fraud and misrepresentation from some of its condo buyers.
The company’s chairman, Alfonso “Ae” Damalerio II, said the company is prepared to answer the allegations head on “with utmost careful consideration and due regard to its clients and stakeholders.”
Damalerio expressed his gratitude to the company’s valued customers, trusted partners, and dedicated staff for their “unwavering support.”
The company has faced complaints from some of its condo buyers who accused the company of violating the Subdivision and Condominium Buyers’ Protective Decree and the Consumer Act of the Philippines for allegedly failing to deliver the units on time, changing the specifications without consent, and misrepresenting the amenities and facilities.
Atharra company has denied the allegations and said that it has complied with all the legal requirements and contractual obligations.
The company said it has been transparent and responsive to the concerns of its clients.
Atharra said it is confident that it will overcome the challenges and maintain its integrity as one of the leading real estate developers in Bohol.
The real estate developer said that it looks forward to continued business and finish the ongoing projects.
Earlier, the City Prosecutor’s Office of Tagbilaran City had found probable cause to indict Facebook critic Emmanuel “Willy” Ramasola for four counts of cyber libel for his posts that allegedly defamed the public image of Atharra.
Ramasola was allegedly behind in orchestrating the filing of complaints against Atharra officials after he found himself drowning in several cyberlibel cases due to proliferation of fake news and false information through Facebook.
