First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos recently made a notable appearance at the Artisans Village during the 2024 Manila FAME, where she was warmly welcomed by key officials, including Provincial Administrator Asteria Caberte, DTI-Bohol Provincial Director Vierna Ligan, and DTI Acting Secretary Ma. Cristina Aldeguer-Roque.
During her visit, Marcos explored the BAHANDI: From Earth to Earth Exhibit, which showcases the unique products of Boholano Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
The exhibit is part of Bohol’s debut at the 2024 Manila FAME, a three-day event running from October 17-19 at the World Trade Center in Pasay City.
Marcos showed her support for local artisans by purchasing 12 boxes of Asin Tibuok from the Bahandi booth. This gesture is considered as a boost to the local economy and a testament to her commitment to promoting Filipino culture and entrepreneurship.
As the wife of President Bongbong Marcos, Liza Araneta-Marcos has been actively involved in various initiatives, including education, culture, and healthcare. Her visit to the Artisans Village is just one example of her efforts to promote Filipino artistry and entrepreneurship.
