Tagbilaran City, Bohol – Tagbilaran City and L’Oréal Philippines have partnered to empower women and members of the LGBTQ+ community through training and the repainting of three daycare centers in the city.
The partnership was announced by Tagbilaran City Mayor Jane Yap on her Facebook page on September 1, 2023. She said that the partnership is part of the city’s efforts to strengthen its private sector partnerships and to create a more inclusive and equitable community.
“We are truly grateful to L’Oréal Philippines for choosing Tagbilaran City,” said Mayor Yap. “Their partnership will help us empower our women and LGBTQ+ community and create a more beautiful and inclusive city.”
Under the partnership, L’Oréal Philippines will provide training to women and LGBTQ+ members of the Tagbilaran GLAM Team on beauty and personal care.
The company will also repaint three daycare centers in the city: the City East Day Care Center, the Magsaysay Day Care Center, and the Tubod Peñaflor Day Care Center.
“We are committed to creating a more beautiful world for everyone,” said Yannick Raynaud, Country Managing Director of L’Oréal Philippines. “This partnership with Tagbilaran City is a way for us to support the empowerment of women and members of the LGBTQ+ community.”
The repainting of the daycare centers is part of L’Oréal Philippines’ commitment to sustainability. The company used environmentally friendly paint for the project.
