The Police Regional Office (Pro-7) has announced the results of a weeklong operation that led to the arrest of 515 suspects and the seizure of PHP11 million worth of illegal drugs.
From October 6 to 12, Pro-7 conducted 495 police operations, resulting in the arrest of 168 drug personalities and the confiscation of 1,639.05 grams of illegal drugs, valued at PHP11,145,540.00. The operations also yielded other drug-related paraphernalia.
In addition, Pro-7 apprehended 197 suspects involved in illegal gambling, seizing PHP20,734.00 in gambling money and other paraphernalia. The operations also resulted in the recovery of 35 unregistered firearms and 50 ammunitions, and the arrest of 24 suspects.
Furthermore, Pro-7 served 15 outstanding warrants of arrest to most wanted individuals and 111 other wanted persons, who are currently detained pending presentation to their issuing courts.
