DJ Balite, son of the late Vice Governor Dionisio Victor Balite, has assumed his post as a member of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP), filling a vacant seat in the provincial board.
Balite confirmed that he has taken his oath of office and occupied the seat left vacant after Board Member Tita Baja was elevated to the post of Vice Governor, following the death of his father.
The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) has confirmed Balite’s appointment, with regional director Leocadio Trovela handing over the confirmation documents to the new board member.
With Balite’s assumption of office, the provincial board is now complete, and he will serve until June 30, 2025.
Balite is also a candidate for a full term as a board member, running under the Abante Bohol slate for the third district.
