TESDA SA BARANGAY PUSH UNDERWAY IN BOHOL
The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) is pushing its "TESDA sa Barangay" program in Bohol, aiming to bring technical vocational training to grassroots communities.
According to TESDA provincial director Carlito Quintano, the program empowers local government units by training potential trainers who can conduct livelihood programs with partial support from TESDA.
Quintano, speaking on "Newsmakers ug Uban Pa" with Ardy Araneta-Batoy, said the program involves transferring skills to potential trainers at the barangay level.
Those interested in taking TESDA courses can inquire at one of the five provincial training centers located in Tubigon, Inabanga, Pilar, Bilar, and Jagna.
