P3.4 MILLION WORTH OF SHABU SEIZED IN BOHOL BUY-BUST

A former convict who had previously availed of a plea bargain agreement was arrested again for alleged involvement in the illegal drug trade, police said.

Ramonito Sebandal, 39, alias "Migo", a resident of Purok 2, Barangay Upper, Dela Paz, Cortes town, was caught in a buy-bust operation conducted yesterday by the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit.

Sebandal, who was previously released from prison through a plea bargain agreement, was found in possession of a belt bag containing 510 grams of shabu, with an estimated street value of P3.468 million pesos.

The suspect was arrested in a sting operation, marking the latest crackdown on the illicit drug trade in Bohol province.
