With the start of the filing of certificates of candidacy with the Commission on Elections, Team Asenso Pa More of Tagbilaran City has finalized its lineup for the 2025 midterm elections.
The team, led by City Mayor Jane Yap and City Vice-Mayor Adam Relson Jala, has completed its roster with the addition of Bool Punong Barangay Jose Floro Ringca.
Ringca’s decision to join Team Asenso Pa More was confirmed by City Councilor Eleizer "Ondoy" Borja in an interview with DYTR news.
This move comes after incumbent City Councilor Ody Glovasa defected from the team to join the lineup of incumbent City Councilor Atoy Torralba, which is expected to challenge City Mayor Jane Yap’s team in the 2025 elections.
The finalized lineup for Team Asenso Pa More includes Yap and Jala seeking re-election alongside their slate of incumbent City Councilors Tim Butalid, Nerio Zamora II, Charles Cabalit, Gemma Inting, Fausto "Bebot" Budlong, comebacking City Councilor Edi Borja, Atty. Dodong Gonzaga, Gian Besas, Merick Blanco, and Ringca.
