Police authorities on Tuesday arrested a 38-year-old man wanted for four counts of rape in Quezon City, reports said.
Ariel Pa-it, a resident of barangay Canlangit in Sierra Bullones, Bohol, was taken into custody by a joint tracker team from the Quezon City and Sierra Bullones police, following a warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court Branch 51 in Carmen.
The suspect was denied bail and was initially held at the Quezon City police district lock-up facility before being transported to Bohol to face trial.
No further details were immediately available on the circumstances surrounding Pa-it’s arrest or the alleged crimes for which he is accused.
