Former Tubigon Mayor to Seek Mayoralty Position Again

Marlon Amila, the former mayor of Tubigon, Bohol, is set to make another bid for the town’s top job in next year’s elections.

Amila has been trying to regain the mayoralty position, but has been unsuccessful in his previous attempts, with outgoing Mayor William Jao thwarting his efforts.

This time, Amila will face off against incumbent Vice Mayor Rene Villaber, who is also vying for the mayoralty position.

However, it is not yet clear who will be Mr Amila’s running mate in the election.

Meanwhile, Mayor Jao’s plans for the future are uncertain, with speculation that he may run for a board member seat representing the first district.

However, no official announcement has been made.

Amila has recently joined the Abante Bohol group, led by Governor Aris Aumentado, while Mayor Jao has expressed his support for Congressman Edgar Chatto and the Padayon Bol-anon group.
