TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol – Governor Aris Aumentado personally visited and extended assistance to the fire victims in Barangay Mansasa on February 6, 2024.
The governor distributed relief goods such as mats, pans, blankets, rice, canned goods, and other necessities to the affected families.
The Provincial Government of Bohol, through the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office and the Office of Provincial Social Welfare and Development (OPSWD), also provided support to the individuals in crisis.
Governor Aumentado instructed the OPSWD to give Php10,000 each to the households that have suffered total damage from the fire incident.
The governor expressed his sympathy and solidarity with the fire victims and assured them of the Capitol’s continuous assistance.
He also thanked the local officials and volunteers who responded to the emergency and helped in the evacuation and rehabilitation efforts.
