The Provincial Government of Bohol, headed by Gov. Aris Aumentado, donated P210,000 to the municipality of Pilar on Feb. 7, 2024.
The donation was handed over during the courtesy visit of the Pilar officials at the Capitol.
Pilar Mayor Wilson Pajo and their Sangguniang Kabataan officials expressed their gratitude to the Provincial Government for the financial assistance. They said the amount will be used for the celebration of the town’s foundation day, which is on Feb. 14, 2024.
Gov. Aumentado said the donation is part of the Aumentado-Balite administration’s support for socio-cultural activities in the province.
He said the Strategic Change Agenda, which is the blueprint of his governance, aims to foster the holistic development of Boholanos, especially the youth.
He also commended the Pilar officials for their efforts in promoting the welfare and development of their constituents. He said he hopes to strengthen the partnership between the Provincial Government and the local government units in Bohol.
