Governor Aumentado visits Sikatuna, distributes financial aid to barangays

As part of his Strategic Change Agenda, Bohol Governor Aris Aumentado is strengthening local governance by visiting different municipalities and providing financial support to barangays.

On January 3, 2024, he started his municipal visits in Sikatuna, where he met with barangay captains and treasurers from ten barangays.

He was accompanied by Board Member Lucille Lagunay, who represents the first district of Bohol.

Governor Aumentado gave each barangay P25,000, for a total of P250,000, as financial aid for their various projects and programs. He also donated P60,000 to Barangay Abucay Sur for their boxing equipment, services, and prizes.

He thanked Mayor Justiniana Ellorimo and the local government unit of Sikatuna for their warm hospitality and cooperation.

He also recognized the Sangguniang Panlalawigan for their role in facilitating the financial assistance.
