PNP Arrests High-Value Drug Suspect in Tagbilaran City

Police in Tagbilaran City, Bohol arrested a high-value drug suspect on September 25, 2023, during a buy-bust operation.

The suspect, identified as Jay Lord de Claro y Inopiquez, alias “Tiki”, is a resident of Loay town. He was arrested in Barangay Cogon, Tagbilaran City, where he was selling 150 grams of suspected shabu worth more than one million pesos.

De Claro is a high-value drug suspect, meaning he is considered to be a major supplier of illegal drugs in the province.

The Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU), led by Lt. Col. Romar Labasbas, said that the operation was part of their intensified campaign against illegal drugs in Bohol.

“We are committed to ridding our province of illegal drugs, and we will continue to conduct operations like this to apprehend drug suspects and protect our communities,” Labasbas said.

The PDEU thanked the public for their cooperation and support in reporting drug-related activities.

“We encourage everyone to continue reporting any suspicious activity to the police so that we can take action and make our province safer,” Labasbas said.
