The town of Duero, Bohol is gearing up for a star-studded event as actress, model and performer Maui Taylor is confirmed to grace the grand opening of the Duero Food Park on September 10, 2023.
Mayor Al Taculad announced the news on his official Facebook page, saying that it was his “outmost dream” to put Duero on the map of Bohol and to showcase its beauty and progress. He said that he personally invited Taylor, who was a member of the popular Viva Hotbabes group in the 90s, to jam with the Duerohanons and to add excitement to the occasion.
The mayor also clarified that no LGU funds were involved in bringing Taylor to Duero, and that it was his personal effort and expense. He said that he did this to make his constituents happy and to fulfill his dreams of commitment for his people and his town.
The Duero Food Park is a project of the Taculad administration that aims to provide a venue for local entrepreneurs to showcase their products and services, as well as to attract tourists and visitors to the town. The food park will feature various stalls offering different cuisines and delicacies, as well as live entertainment and performances.
The grand opening of the food park will start at 6:00 PM on September 10, 2023 at the Duero Municipal Plaza. Mayor Taculad invited everyone to save the date and mark their calendars for this remarkable event.
